Yesterday I couldn't learn, because my grandma came over to visit, but today was a day full of work for me! At first I watched Mira's (@kanadajin3 on youtube) videos and on her How I learned Japanese video she talked about japanesepod101 I checked that site and it's quite awesome. I got encouragement to learn this language. I really really love their lessons. Today I've learned a lot of Kanji and new things.
First of all, in learning Japanese I stopped using Romaji at all. I use only hiragana and katakana in explanations of kanji. I feel so cool like this XD
Today I've learned (since it's bothersome to paste Kanji here, so I'll just write in romaji) :
Kazoku - family
Au - to meet
Namae - name
Kanojo - she/her/girlfriend
Shusshin - hometown
and I've learned them forever. I was writing them as much as possible, on every page in my notebook just to remember and it happened! I am so proud of me! (Although I think I should learn new WORDS [I knew those above] but kanji will be helpful too. I need to learn them anyways so.. why not now?!)
And I also know these kanji:
Minasan - everyone
Kotoshi - this year (new word!)
Kekkon suru - to marry
Kinchou suru - to feel nervous (new word!)
Yeah and that's all Kanji I've learned today.
I also wrote an email to Japanese school in a city next to me with a question if I could participate in their Japanese language course. I hope they will write back soon!
Ahhh by the way... I know my kanji sucks, but here you go!
Till shusshin I know they are written quite nice and correctly and I can memorise them but starting with minasan they look SO BAD and I don't remember them yet. But I will practice. I hope it will look better soon.
Have a great day!
